The Wenallt is a sustainable smallholding in rural Carmarthenshire. In our low input system our small herd of pedigree Shetland Cattle are entirely pasture fed. We use managed intensive rotational grazing to improve our permanent pastures and sequester carbon. The cattle are also used to maintain an area of Marshy Grassland habitat land by conservation grazing.
